CANADIANS ONLY-Do you have to have a license to buy a car?

Not necessarily from a dealership, though...what about a private sale? I'm working on getting my license, but need a little beater to practice on.

No you do not need a license to buy a car , as a matter of fact you don't have to tell your age either .

But on the other hand a dealership will not sell someone a car without a license because they don't want to be libel for a car they sold to a unlicensed underaged person.

A car can't be insured for you as the driver , without a license ,and without insurance they can't give you the fit ownership. Meaning the car can't go on the road.
