CAT HAS NOW MET KITTEN OMGGG HELP!

Question

Ok my first question was what would happen, but now it happened! And the younger kitten just ran up to the the older cat and sniffed it and my cat hissed and its back arched, then so did the younger cat. Its like it was imitating it? The younger cat seems friendly but the older cat is pissed off. What to do?

oh and the older cat is in another room. We arent locking them in seperate rooms, anything else!?

give them more time my cats did the same thin my older cat was 8 and my kitten was 7 weeks
