Question:

CAn someone give an example of a Monocot, dicot, fern, or conifer??

Im supposed to draw out one of either of these plants, but I cant find a good picture of one.Name of plant. Would the plant survive in warm or hot temp.? And where would it be found? Any questions you can answer would be a big help.

  1. common monocots include: grasses, water lilies, onions, orchids, wheat, corn, barley, and rye.

    dicots include: maples, oaks, cacti, most forest trees and the majority of flowering plants

    Ferns are ferns.


  2. a conifer is an evergreen tree. they are just like cristmas trees, but bigger. they are found in washington state. it is kinda cold in the north-west.

  3. monocot-it includes paddy,wheat .....grass..etc

    dicot-eupatorium,most of the tap rooted plants......

    ferns-nephrolepis,lady fern,azolla(water fern)etc

    coniufer-pinus etc...............i hope this will satisfy u..........
