You pay 10 cents per IM message you send or receive. I didn't know before either and since we send IM's really quick, your money starts disappearing quick too. Make sure you have IM messaging option that you bought from your phone carrier if you don't wanna pay.

To receive an IM from AIM on your phone should cost the same amount as recieving a text(probably 5 cents). To send an IM on AIM should cost the same amount as sending a text(probably 10 cents). You cannot have a conversation without being charged, unless you have unlimited texting, but that's still being charged because you are paying to have the unlimited texting plan. It would be alot easier to read if you typed normally. I know it seems cool from your end, I think that too, but its really hard to read when its a whole sentence >_< But I figured out the pattern ^_^ I feel smart, its all vowels that are capitalized.
