  1. There are some 38 states with concealed carry laws.  Some states honor CCW's from other states.  However, there is no 50 state CCW, concealed carry is a state by state issue.

  2. The U.S Constitution prohibits any government agency from interfering with your right to own or carry firearms anywhere in this country.

Unfortunately, the Supreme Rest Home has just refused to uphold these Constitutional restrictions on our subversive and malfeasant politicians.

  3. You can only get a CCW for the state in which you live in. Some states do honor another state's CCW's though. Police officers can carry in any state.

  4. No, there is no such thing, unless you are a law enforcement officer.

Some states (Wisconsin, Illinois, Hawaii) don't allow regular civilians to carry concealed weapons in public.  Others (California, New York) have very restrictive standards, and you have to prove that you have a compelling need to carry a gun around.  So obviously, one permit isn't going to get you the right to carry nationwide.

With that said, many states honor each others permits.  You can also apply for a Utah non-resident permit, which may be accepted in certain states that your KY one isn't.

  5. Many states will honor your permit, but in addition to some that will not, there are states that don't even allow their OWN residents to exercise their basic human/Constitutional rights......so I'm sure they couldn't care less about your rights

  6. I agree with what other people have posted.

Except the person that posted the laws about states that honor other licenses. While that information may have at one time been accurate, it is not now. Missouri has been issueing CCW licenses for a few years now...

  7. I know some people make a hobby of collecting permits for other states.

It takes a lot of time but there is a way to get almost every state except for the really restrictive ones.

There is no non-LEO 50 state single permit though.

    Good luck Kurdis

  8. I can say this: There should be a federal CCW permit. We need it to simplify things.

  9. Only LEOs currently have true nationwide CC under HR218.

For non-LEOs there are two types of permits- Resident & Non-Resident. Some states will accept no other state's permits, others may accept Resident permits only, and others will accept either. Florida's Non-Resident permit is one of the most widely accepted. You can hold multiple permits.

  10. Only cops qualify for a national CCW.  Sorry.
