CD/DVD DRIVE MISSING?

I HAVE A HP PAVILION NOTEBOOK. THE DRIVE IS MISSING FOR THE DVD/CD ROM AND CAN'T READ A CD. THAT DO I NEED TO GO INTO TO FIX THIS. WHEN I LOOK INTO MY COMPUTER THAT DRIVE IS MISSING.
