CD Drive Not Opening

Question

I purchased a Satellite L300-13R last month. The machine is for my daught who has now taken it to university 300 miles away.

She set up a printer for it last week and thinks she may have left the driver CD in the drive - the CD drive has now stopped working. The orange light comes on - but the tray does not open.

What do you advise - is there a call centre she can contact - the machine has not not yet been registered with Toshiba as it has not yet been connected to the internet.
