CD Player Model # CD2162

Question

CD Player Model # CD2162 plays one or two songs and then shuts off. Displays Er after shutting off. Tried unpluging and pluging back in as booklet says. Is not by a TV, or any other appliance. CD's are brand new and not scratched. Doesn't matter if one or five is loaded, still does the same way. Have only had about 6 weeks and has been used only 5 or 6 times.Thank you for any help you can give me.Kris Sullivan
