CD Player humming.?

Question

I'm getting a humming sound through my speakers from my Pioneer CD player. It only happens when you have a cd in and selected. You can hear it with the volume off. But you select the tuner the sound goes away speakers are clear. What is going on with it?? I've had it less the 6 months.

you have interference from your power cords and wiring harness. you will have to replace or re-route the wires it is easier to have the wires checked and you can save money. but if that doesn't work then there is a short in your stereo and it has to be replaced if its annoying you that much
