Do you believe that good banks in Europe pay 7-8% per year and even more?

  1. If you are living in the EU, you want the interest rate to be above the inflation rate for that country.

    If you are living in the USA, and want to invest in CD's in EU banks. You will prob lose money on the currency exchange as the USD has been gaining strength, and the EU has been loosing value, and EU economy is slowing faster than the US.

    Lock in higher EU CD rates for longer term. EU Interest Rates should come down in the EU over the next 12 months, so EU CD's will have lower rates in the future.
