CD player in my vehicle won't work!

Question

I put in a CD it spins it for a few seconds then spits it out & says "check CD" i bought a disc to clean the player & it does the same thing with it!!!!! Please help I have tons of cd's & can't play them!!!! it's a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada

What it sounds like you're experiencing is the TheftLock has engaged.  Check your owners manual for tips on resetting it, usually you have to disconnect the battery and perform a hard reset.  If not, then you have a useless system, as I experienced in my 2003 Buick Rendevous, the only fix was to replace the unit with an aftermarket unit.  Happy trails with it.
