CD spins, but no sound or display...?

My boyfriend punched my car stereo (Pioneer) with the face on while it was playing and now it won't work. The CD would spin in there when I'd start the car but I was getting no sound and no display at all on the face. I managed to get the CD out but can't get it to work. I tried pulling the deck out of the car but it doesn't seem to want to come out and I don't want to break anything. Anyone know if there's anything I might be able to try to fix it? It's like a $150 system so is it worth paying to have fixed or should I just get a new one if I can't get it working? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You need a new one. Boyfriend, I mean.

You also need a new player. It would cost more than it's worth to replace the control head.
