CDS? I RLY NEED HELP PLZ PLZ?

ok so i have no experience with this c**p and im just so mad and frustrated so plz help!

i bought blank cds today and when i try to "burn" them, it says "will not fit" i even tried one song but it still dont "fit" is that CD just for storing things or what?

i need to burn songs.

also my friend said its supposed to say "80 min" on the cd but mine are just white =/ plz help <3
