CFA Ethics- help please..?

I have finished studying ethics for the cfa level 1 and I am confused on how they are gonna ask questions on this suject, will they ask about each standard and expect you to remember which standard is what , for eg. standard 1 a is ?

  1. If you have to study ethics, you shouldn't be a financial adviser.


  2. they don't test the number of a particular standard, but they will expect you to be able to name the standard that applies in a given situation.

  3. Basically the application is asked in the exams. So understand them better rather than mugging up.

They will be almost purely application.  They will give you situations of questionable ethics.  Some things will be ethial, most won't.  You will be expected to know which is a violation and why.  The questions at the end of the SOP handbook are exactly the type of format you can expect @ level 1.
