CFA or ACCA?.........?

I'm really unsure whether to study for CFA or ACCA. I did MSc in Management and need to narrow my designation to find a proper job.

what an you advise me? Can i start first with CFA? would it be efficient to boost a career?

  1. These are 2 quite different professions in business - CFA is for investment advisory, ACCA is for chartered accountants.

    I'm assuming you live and intend to work in the U.K.  It looks like you did not take enough time to decide your final destination in business, given your degree.  You basically need to decide:

    1- how much time you have to complete the professional certification

    2- what your final career goal will be (accountant, investment banker, something else?)

    3- what the extra years of study and money invested will profit you (ROI)

    CFA is done in 3 parts, and you would likely get job offers after passing the first part.  The ACCA is a full course from high school level to just past master's level.  Where you enter w/this one depends on how many courses you have already completed that can "transfer" into the ACCA's scope.  Go to the websites to get individualised info.
