Great news!

This kid is quick. Real quick, just look at the QP1 & QP2 times at Laguna Seca this year.

This can only be good news. Whats your thoughts?

I think its great - he was fantastic in California. Is it just for the rest of this season or has he got the ride for next year? Think its a pity they were only looking him as a test rider at first.

Hi Wiggy.  Even if they are just using him as a test rider for the last 3 races. it can only be good for him and racing. it gives him the opportunity to shine and the world a look at what he can do given a decent ride. I may have to dust off the old union jack.

It does sound like good news - if I recall he was there to do an AMA race, and got lucky with a seat for the big boys.

Good luck to him - hopefully his pal Stoner will have a few tips for him!

I can't remember if/where the empty seats are left for 2008, but if there's one at Pramac-D'Antin, I hope he makes it his!

I can't really remember seeing him race although after reading the article in motogp.com I understand that he is hurt and there is still a small chance for him not to race.

But I will definitely hope to see him on the track! After all, he is British, isn't he? :)
