1)  No, because if he has a widow, he is dead.

2)  9.  All but 9 died.

3)  1692.  844 divided by 1/2 is 1688.  Add 6 and you have 1692.

4)  It isn't called that, I'm sure, but of course.  There should be a trick to this, but I first looked to see if, in fact, 15th of August existed anywhere.  The answer was, of course, yes.  So if there is a 15th of August, it exists as much in Pakistan as anywhere else.
