A question says:

Zinc metal reacts with yellow crystals of sulfur in fiery reaction to produce a white powder of zinc sulfide.

A chemist determines that 65.4 grams of zinc reacts with 32.1 grams of sulfur.

How many grams of zinc sulfide could be produced from 20 grams of zinc metal?

I need help understanding what this question wants and how to get it.

  1. you need to set up a proportion to answer this. 20g is to 65.4 as x is to 97.5 (the total mass when Zn and S combine)
