CHI HAIR STRAIGHTENER...HELP!?

Question

ok so i was straightening my friends hair, with my chi hair straightener, and my mom called us down to eat. So i turned it off, and went downstairs to eat. When I came bak, i turned it on, but it wouldnt turn on, like the switch would go to ON but the red light wouldn't turn on and it wouldnt heat up. So i plugged and unplugged it and tried again and nothing happened!!! HELP! what can I doo?!?!?!? i HAVE TO fix it! i was gonna straighten my hair for the first day of school which is tuesday!!!! and now i dont have a working straightener! how can i fix it???

Well, go back where you bought it from and try to get a refund..

We use Chi irons at my work, and that has happened a few times, although we use them on such a regular basis they probably get worn out. Consumers have returned them to us on a couple of occasions. How long have you had this iron for? Maybe you can return it to the retailer and get another one. It's a great iron, however, maybe its a dud. If use purchased it from a place that is not a professional hair salon, such as Target, then Chi wont guarantee your product is authentic. Good luck.

try a diffrent outlet and then see if it works and if it does it your outlet and if it doesnt its you chi

i-really-dk what to do.  is there something wrong with the plug, do you think?  or is it just the straightener . . . hmm . . . well, do you have any other straighteners?  like, does your mom have one?  or, any of you friends, that you could borrow from?
