CHI straighteners?!?

Question

ok does anyone have a chi straightnener for your hair? if so does it work good? does it make you hair really thin? does it leave you hair frizzy? does your hair look unatural after you straighten it? do you get split ends when you straighten your hair with it? and also how much does it cost?

well...starting with the first question.

yeah, i just got myself a chi straightener. it works EXTREMELY good. it leaves your hair with whatever kind hair you had before. it doesn't change the texture. and actually, no. it doesn't frizz out your hair like con-air, or any other cheaper brand. my hair looks different after i straighten it, because well...DUH...you're straightening it. it doesn't make it "un-natural." well, no, you shouldn't get split ends from using a chi. and it would usually cost from around 100-200 dollars. my cousin has it and she uses it daily.

yes it works miracles. doesnt make your hair really thin, doesnt make is frizzy, looks natural. and no split ends.its cost around 150

and yes it slows the process for growing your hair. im doing the same thing because i want to donate some hair to the locks of love foundation.

i talked to my salon lady person and she told me what to do.

if you want to grow out your hair, dont straighten it as often, vitamins are important drink them everyday. if you straighten your hair buy a shampoo that fixes damage helps it grow longer. hope that helps

so i do have the chi hair straightener and it is the best so far that i have gotten any time you use heat it will damage your hair so in my other answers i tell them how to take care of their hair. It will in the long run probably damage but make sure to treat your hair so it doesn't happen. Your hair when straighten with the hair straightener doesn't look frizzy and for me it looks natural i don't think i have split ends but if that occurs get the ends cut.

i dont have a chi but i have a conar stratener and it works really well it dous not make your hair frizzy u do need a hair protector thing it was 15 dollers and i think it looks preety nachrule

I have a chi! It's amazing. My hair always feels so soft and shiny after I use it. It makes it really smooth too. And it does look natural.Honestly it's the best straightener I've used and I don't plan on getting another brand. They are kind of pricey, however. I think mine was 100? It just depends where you get it from.

Before you get a CHI straightner, I hope you buy a cream or spray you spray on BEFORE you straighten your hair (it will protect your hair from burning and stuff).

P.S. If you hair looks TOO flat, or gets frizzy from humidity, use a humidity spray and a spray to volumize it. Like John frieda or Herbal essences. Or if your hair just gets frizzy use John Friedas Frizz-ease or a trusted frizzy spray you use.

My friend is a hair stylist and she and all her co-workers use CHI straighteners.  They're pretty expensive, but sometimes you can find them on sale.  Hers was really really nice.  It heats up really fast and doesn't burn your hair or take out too much moisture.  That said, you should still use a heat protection spray whenever you straighten your hair to prevent split ends and heat damage/frying your hair.  The straightener won't make your hair frizzy or un-natural looking and will give some extra shine.  Any straightener you use, no matter what brand, can give you split ends and damage your hair.

i have the light pink one it was about 120, it works really good. no frizz. use a heat protector before you straighten b/c it gets super hot really quick and will fry your hair. its the best straightner ive ever had.
