what do you think about the "I believe" license plates??

  3. I think they are inappropriate.

    I support the separation of church and state.

    If they are going to offer Christian license plates, then they need to offer plates representing other religions as well.

    I also do not support the new law that allows the display of the 10 commandments in public buildings. Again, this excludes non-Christians. And the 10 commandments recognized by the Protestant Church's are different from the 10 commandments as recognized by the Catholic Church.    The version of the 10 commandments that folks have on signs in their yard is usually the Protestant version. I don't appreciate the state government giving preferential treatment/ support to Protestant religions.

  4. Maybe if they offered a "I really don't believe" plate, it would be okay.

    I would think it would be more trouble for the S.C. government to open that can of worms than it's worth.

    I'm surprised that in this day and age they would even offer an I believe plate.
