CHoosing a high speed internet service?

Question

I tried using Verizon DSL but I could never connect I fear its a problem with my modem or something worse. What internet connection would you guys recommend? I don't wanna pay more than 40 a month.

if you have rogers in your area get that, i have ultra lite which is pretty fast for $25 a month

i have verizon and itss superrrrrr sketchy,

i used to have an apple airport with adelphia high speed, it was great!

Verizon is good but if you have a laptop or psp sometimes the modem craps out a little and you will not get signals for like 10 minutes. Also optonline is good i think there both the same for me i had no trouble and you have to buy ur own modem if u get optonline.
