CIA psychic spies...?

Has anyone ever heard of the CIA program called STAR GATE [Controlled Remote Viewing]? I find it very intriguing and I would like some info on it (maybe a web site or something?) How would someone be a part of that and what would you do exactly? Are they like psychic spies?

There was a group of people who managed to get a contract with the CIA by claiming that they had 'psychic' powers.  

They were unable to produce anything remotely usable and avoided prosecution for fraud because the CIA did not want to admit that they had been taken in by a scam.
