CIMB Asia Pacific Classic welcomes young golfers in Malaysia
The CIMB Asia Pacific Classic due to be held in Malaysia will initiate on Thursday with a total of 40 top professional golfers. Along with the pros all teeing off, the event held at the Mines Resort and Golf Club will also witness Rickie Fowler, the emerging
young talent, from Las Vegas in America.
Along with Fowler, Noh Seung Yul and Ryo Ishikawa will also appear at the competitive field to contend for a total of US$ 6 Million in reward money. The Japanese and the south Korean is considered to be one of the hot favourites along with Ricky Fowler because
of their startling performances throughout the season.
According to the 2009 turned professional, Rickie Fowler, he is highly honoured to be deemed as one of the new "young guns" in the World of the golf. He says that he is working hard and has his focus on living up to the expectations of those, who have wagered
on him.
Another great addition to the Japanese, South Korean and the Vegas resident, one golfer from the Northern Ireland, Rory McIlroy, will also be seen teeing off from the fields of Malaysia. Coming back to the twenty-one year old, Rick Yutaka Fowler, he is one
of the first US Tour rookies, who was chosen for the Ryder Cup line-up, as a wild card entry.
Fowler likes to stay close to reality and said that no matter what the situation is, there are always expectations from the fans as well as the media. Even he has high expectations for himself, he said that since he has the same feelings as his fans and
media, he would push much harder to fulfil all the hopes.
Regarding the CIMB Asia-Pacific Classic in Kuala Lumpur, an event co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and Asian Tour, Fowler said that he would try to give his best no matter what.
He is currently standing at number thirty-two in the World ranking and has two runner-up ends in his record basket. The twenty-one year old holds a mature gaming approach that has been affirmed by the former captain Corey Pavin at the Ryder Cup event.
The current event will welcome the top twenty-five players from FedEx Cup standings and further 10 players from the Asian Tour. Other than the earlier stated competition, the event is also hosting 5 sponsor exemptions. Fowler is entering a massive battle
field for the first time in Malaysia.
According to Fowler, he has always been a great fan of travelling and playing in various parts of the World is something he considers highly interesting.
