CISSP Question? Help!!?

I need to know if there are any prerequisites to obtaining a CISSP Certification? Any info on this subject would be helpful.

You need 5 years direct experience in the IT Security Field (you can get a waiver for one year if you have a four-year degree).

And you have to pass the test (not the easiest in the world).
