CL T20 invitation is a step towards reviving Pakistan-India cricket ties - Cricket News Update
The organising committee of the Champions League T20 has formally invited Pakistan’s domestic T20 Champions Sialkot Stallions, to participate in the qualifying stage of the tournament in October, a decision hailed by Pakistan.  
The committee also included officials from the Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI), and the decision would serve as a step forward towards the revival of bilateral cricketing ties between the traditional rivals.

India, South Africa and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 make the organising committee who are also the founding members and joint owners of the championship. CL T20 is an annual T20 international cricket event, and was first launched in 2008, with its first edition being held in 2009.
According to the spokesman, PCB will hold a meeting to discuss the invitation by its executive coordination committee. PCB was quick to respond to the news when it surfaced last month, and termed it as “the first step towards reviving cricketing ties between the two countries.”
"Pakistan have a very strong T20 domestic base and obviously we were always keen to have representation in the Champions League,” the COO said.
India refused to invite Pakistan in the championship after the relations between the two countries remained strained following the Mumbai attacks in 2008.

 The Stallions will be competing with five teams before finding a berth to progress to the main round of the tournament.
