I'm trying to get adjusted to Celexa at 5mg but have found im very nausious - I can handle my anxiety but if I do I have a very very very low mood afterwards - should I use clonazepam as it was described to me, the reason I am hesitant is because I don't want my low moods sinking any lower after I use it...

  1. Do you mean you are trying to adjust to a lower dosage and get off the Celexa or just starting it?  From what I found, the clonazepam is to keep you from having that reaction.  I'm guessing you meant to say as it was prescribed for you.  It is prescription medication (both of them).  Your doctor or pharmacist should be able to tell you more.

  2. Because of your side effect with the Celexa and your misunderstanding the use of the clonazepam, you really should go back to your psychiatrist to address the problems you're having. This CAN be fixed.
