CM Punk, John Morrison and Jim Ross re-hired to Monday Night Raw roster – WWE News
The WWE Universe saw the return of three former WWE superstars named Jim Ross, John Morrison and CM Punk at Hampton, Virginia on July 25. Punk returned to WWE just eight days after leaving the company.
WWE’s official ring announcer Jim Ross appeared during Monday Night Raw segment first while the new Chief Operating Officer of WWE, Triple H was addressing WWE Universe. Triple H first announced another WWE championship match between John Cena and newly
minted WWE Champion, Rey Mysterio.
Later on, Triple H introduced Jim Ross as the new announce table team member. Michael Cole did not agree with that decision and he did not accept it. The COO told him to be quite and rely on the decision. Consequently, Triple H put Cole into a fight against
Zack Ryder after his speech. Cole left the announce table for the fight and Ross joined Jerry Lawler.
R-Truth also interfered as the COO was addressing the WWE Universe. The COO announced that he had re-hired another WWE superstar and it was John Morrison. The Shaman of s**y, Morrison came out and attacked Truth. He speared Truth and threw him into the ring.
Morrison hit Truth with his finishing move “Starship Pain” and left him immobile in the ring.
Morrison attended Monday Night Raw after approximately three months. He was injured by Truth on May 9 during Monday Night Raw. He returned to Monday Night Raw roster tonight after recovery and attacked Truth. It is seems that Truth and Morrison will face
each other at “Summerslam”.
CM Punk stunned the WWE Universe by his return at the end of the Monday Night Raw segment when The Champ, John Cena won the WWE Title over Mysterio. Punk appeared on the ramp with his old music and old video. He was also wearing the WWE title that he won
at “Money in the Bank” on July 17 from Cena before leaving WWE. They both raised their titles that showed that they are also going to collide at “SummerSlam” next month.
