CM Punk forced to attempt field sobriety test inside the ring – WWE News
Monday Night Raw SuperShow for April 23 came with sessions no one could expect. On one end, Jericho defeated Kofi Kingston to show he is the best in the world, on the other end he was whipped by CM Punk and he had to retreat.
Chris Jericho came to the ring with two police officers and Theodre Long, announcing orders of Raw and SmackDown General Manager John Laurinaitis. According to Jericho, Laurinaitis ordered Punk to attempt the field sobriety test and if Punk failed, his WWE
title would go to Jericho. The scenario was quite fascinating when the officers asked Punk to recite English alphabets backwards. Punk, who supposedly was drunk, could not do it saying, “no one in the history of alphabets has ever recited them backwards.”
Punk could not recite the alphabets and so the officers asked him to walk on the red line that was drawn within the ring. Again, Punk failed and the officers announced him as being intoxicated. The officers left and Jericho was forcing Long to strip Punk
off the title. Theodre asked Punk to hand over the title but Punk asked for one more chance. This time Punk walked over the red line perfectly while reciting the alphabets backwards. In fact, Punk enjoyed doing this and then he looked at Jericho and smashed
the microphone on his head. This was when Punk got the chance to actually take out all his anger on Jericho. This was Punk’s chance to avenge all the disgrace Jericho had caused him.
Punk gave Jericho the beating of his life. Y2J realised he could not do much so he retreated while Punk followed him and kept whipping him until he left the arena.
Punk and Y2J will go head to head with each other at Extreme Rules in a street fight. This means that Jericho and Punk will have the chance to do whatever they want to with each other without any interference from the management. They can use weapons, tools
and anything else they wish to since everything will be allowed. Probably, it will be Punk’s chance to beat Jericho up in front of his family.
