  1. I think the Prius is the best because you get a reliable car that is easy to maintain with the best mileage.

I own a 2007 Prius and avg. 50 mpg in the summer and about 44mpg in the winter.

If you need the room and utility of an SUV, I would choose the Escape Hybrid. 3,000 tax credit (2WD) on the Escape Hybrid through the end of the year is excellent, as well.

The Mazda Tribute is the same vehicle as the Escape with a Mazda badge.  The Tribute Hybrid is only available in CA.

The Malibu and Aura are not true hybrids in the sense of what Toyota and Honda (Civic) are doing.

If you look at the specs of the Malibu and the Aura, you are only going to get 2 mpg more per gallon than the 4 cylinder, but will pay over $4,000 more for the hybrid.  Not worth it.

Oh and why not buy a Diesel?  Because they cost much more than a hybrid and the cost of diesel fuel is 20-25% more than regular gas.

  2. I`m using now Honda. It`s a new model. I bought last December. Honda has a new features that I can only used 1 liter of gasoline per 21 kilometers .It`s Economical. But my friend has Toyota Prius the motor is so good and he told me he trust toyota more than other company because of its safety features.

  3. CNG gets worse mileage than gas does, and LPG costs about the same as gas but gets 20% LESS mpg, so why not Diesel?

Diesel gets better mileage than a Hybrid
