Question:

CNG/LPG/LNG fueling in my garage?

I'm considering an alternative fuel vehicle. I have natural gas service to my garage and would like to know about whether I can use the gas service in my garage to fuel a vehicle. What types of fueling could be done in my own garage? I don't know the difference between CNG, LPG and LNG and how they relate to the natural gas piped into my garage.

  1. I  think it would be to difficult and costly to allow fueling off car from your garage,You would need to find a safe way to transfer gas from mains supply or tank to the correct pressure that it uses when filling a car

    there's also safety issues

Also I'm sure a domestic gas supply is gas and not liquid which is needed to run  a vehicle,to turn gas to liquid iv heard it needs to be inverted or some other process

And even if you could over come those issues,It is also likely that because you're are using gas supplied for domestic purposes then there will not be any ROAD FUEL duty paid on it Which is a serious offense and would result in customs and excise seizing your vehicle and a possible fine
