If CNN runs that Hypermiles story one more time my head is going to explode. The guy isn't doing anything that hasn't been said before in saving gas miles.

It's just as bad as the smug guy they had on there a couple months ago who ran his car on vegetable oil, that he got for free.

  1. Yeah I saw that in the morning but it actually works for that guy 50 mpg that's alot man. So there is nothing wrong in trying some of his tricks.

  2. LOL, l didn't even understand half of what he was referring to. I prefer to keep my attention on driving.  The last time l saw them start to show it, l changed the station.

  3. You can have all the free fuel you want! My brother has a pick up with a 20 gallon per minute pump and a reel line running to two additional auxiliary fuel tanks! He usually takes it from SUV's and Caddies only! That guy has never bought fuel in his life! Just help yourself to it,it's everywhere! One time he needed a new transfer case and he took it from a guys truck while he was inside the bar drinking! When he came out and tried to leave his truck just sat there! You people need to be much more resourceful!

  4. When I saw the story, I immediately knew that I would never try some of the suggestions such as wearing an ice vest rather than using a/c. Please! Furthermore, I wondered what effect starting and restarting my car would have on the starter. Wouldn't I possibly run through starters faster? Doubling one's fuel mileage is excellent. Maybe we can think of an easier way to do it though.
