CNN "Out of Gas"?

What do you Yahooligans think of CNN's "Out of Gas" special report?

I really had high hopes of an intelligent, informative report.  I looked forward to hearing intelligent ways of coping with oil dependence, such as using fuel cells, or other methods already invented.  Instead it ended up being one of the worst 60 minutes of television time.  I waited for the conclusion to the fear-mongering.."Let's drill Alaska" (or whever it is they are just aching to drill for even more billions in profit) but the lack of backbone to the report instead left a mindless lack of conclusions other than Mr. Branson caused the world food shortage due to his misplaced billions eating up corn.  I even had sympathy for him when this report was blessedly over.

The show was the most outrageous I have ever seen.

The contents were exactly what terrorists want people to believe.

FBI and SEC should investigate the show.

I don't know if we are that close to running out as they make it sound, but the point they were getting at is correct.  It's a natural resource that we are insanely over-dependent on; over time we WILL eventually run out of it.
