Question:

CO2/AIR PISTOL/RIFLE TRANSPORTATION?

When taking a CO2 or air pistol/rifle from place to place, is it illegal to backpack it or holster it strictly for point A to point B travel? I know that where I live (Canada) you can't posses any type of concealed weapon, and for purpose sake, you could call it a weapon. Any thoughts? (obviously the source taken out and empty).

  1. I would say for your sake make sure they can see it!! People have been shot for holding an air pistol.

  2. In the US at least, I would treat it as a real firearm. If you are traveling in your vehicle, make sure it is in a closed case locked in the trunk, with the ammunition in a seperate compartment in the vehicle. If you are carrying it, make sure it is in the case with the ammo seperate, I.E in your pocket. In these circumstances it is not considered a concealed weapon.
