CO2 Bike Pump?

I am wondering if this bike pump would work for me. I am not familiar with CO2 bike pumps. I ride a road style Marinoni with 700 x 23c tires inflated to 110 psi.

  1. I use CO2 for re-inflating a flat when I'm in a hurry.  A single 16 gram threaded cartridge fills my tire(700x23c) to 100ish in a single shot.

I just bought a fullsize frame pump before doing some light touring which I use most of the time.  Having a full size tension held pump under the top tube is great, each pump fills 3-5 PSI, so I've got a full tire in a minute or two.

Of course, neither is a replacement for having a good frame pump at home and using before going riding every time.

  2. I just got a Topeak One-Timer and it works great. The threadless cartridge stores securely upside down inside it.

  3. Threaded cartridges are a little more expensive and tricky to operate.  I had the threaded type then optioned to go out and get the thread less type that was just one shot.  Another thing you may need two cartridges for a tire that size.
