I think i might want to go there... how hard is it to get into that school?

It's a good choice. The School of Visual Arts has an outstanding reputation.  They're on East 23rd St., in Manhattan, New York City, which in itself is a very cool neighborhood. (Gramercy Park)

Because of its high standards, SVA demands that each applicant, in addition to good grades, show a portfolio of her/his work.  But they emphasize that you're not competing against anybody else for a place -- it's your own work they're are interested in.
