COMPUTER QUESTION!!!!! FONT!

my computers font got wayyy largerr. where do i go to fix it?

1. right click your background

2. go to properties and click appearance, than click advanced

3. click "item" from the drop down thing and choose “icon”

or if it's the computer pixels in general (like everything is bigger than normal) you can right click your desktop, go to properties, than in the window that opens go to settings and change the screen revolution

You mean like on web pages mainly or everywhere?

You might have done this, which I do by accident all the time.

If you hold your Ctrl key on your keyboard and while holding it down, you scroll your mouse wheel up the font size gets small on webpages, scroll down to make them bigger.  Try that out.  I've only noticed that it affects font sizes on web pages. Haven't noticed that it affects programs like Notepad/ Word, etc.  It does that on Internet Explorer, not sure about Firefox.

Well i have microsoft vista and on the top bar like wear you enter the site there is a  thing on the last line that says page go down till you are all most at da bottom and it will say text size and you can change it

right click on the desktop background go to properties, click display setting and make the resolution higher

You need to tell us what version of what operating system you are running.  Is it Red Hat Fedora Core 9?  Is it Windows XP?  Is it Mac OSX Leopard?  It all depends!

Look in display properties in Control Panel for Windows XP.

Adjust the DPI setting, normally set for 96, yours is probably now at 120.

I suppose I have to introduce you to my friend called font size. You can meet him beside the font box, indentation box etc.

Hint: Located beside the box where you choose different fonts. : )

i have no clue where u can go to fix it but if u wanna make it smaller i believe u can put < and then without any spaces put small, or big which ever u want...and then put > again

Right click on your desktop,

go to 'PROPERTIES'

then to the 'APPEARANCE' tab

and 'FONT SIZE'

Steps for changing desktop icon Font Size or Type.

1. Right Click Desktop + Choose “Properties”

2. In the Properties Window click on the “Appearance Tab” at the top.

3. In the Appearance Window click on the button called “Advanced”

4. In the Advanced Window choose “Item:” from the drop down list and choose “Icon” and you can choose desired Icon font size and Type.

You might have changed the DPI settings. Goto your desktop>right click on desktop>properties>settings tab>advanced button>general tab> your DPI setting should read Normal size (96) DPI) if it reads anything different change to 96.

Also verify that you just didnt accidently change your resolution.
