  1. And that was your friend!!!!!

  2. Quickly visit the people at btexpress computer repair and service. They can make sure it is gone.

    btexpress.page.tl

  4. Did McAfee Detect anything....what really is happening to McAfee, yesterday a lot of McAfee users were having problems with System Guards Disabling constantly if u have a Problem with McAfee please give me more details i may be able to help u since i am a McAfee user.

  5. how is the pc? is it acting normal?

everything loading fairly fast? no adverts popping up?

unless there's something not right, you should be ok...

  6. re-install Mcafee, then download and run the avst virus cleaner. (URL below) then run the disk cleanup program in windows, you might have to correct your registry, there are tons of registery correcting programs out there

  7. Nope, it will not.

Because it is not a virus

    It is a malware infection.

1st disable your system restore folder (malware and viruses LOVE system restore) Hmm start, control panel, system, system restore tab, check 'disable  system restore', apply and ok

Scan with spybot search and distroy http://www.spybot.com install the updated defintions, BACK UP YOUR REGISTRY WHEN PROMPTED, and scan then remove the malware, THEN scan with McAfee

it would  help to know the name of the infection mcafee is finding.

  8. well, thats a bummer. but if you find want to be sure of anything you should have atleast scanned the file with your antivirus software to see if she was just messing around with you. but if nothing shows up on mcafee then it was just a joke but just in case i would always restore my comp to about a day to a week before i dl'ed the file. hope it helps in anyway

  9. - Did you try restoring your PC?

    - Pick a day before this unusual event happened.

  10. That depends if it is on their data base of viruses or not.  I would suggest going to

www.us-webs.com and downloading the antivirus programs you find there.

One of them should catch it and remove it.

Spybot search and destroy seems to be most popular and easiest to install.  There are others I use and I like all the ones on this site.

Its free and all in one place.

  11. It should correct the problem. If not go to a system restore. That will really correct the problem

  12. First of all, your friend didn't send you this virus. The virus is in your friend's computer already and the virus, which is an MSN virus, sent itself to everyone on their contact list, including you. Follow the instructions on this site (registration is necessary, I guarantee your privacy, me being the owner):

    http://zeeshawn.10gbfreehost.com/zeeshaw...

It tells you a surefire way to remove the virus.

  13. shes probably messing with you. It takes more than some ding bat to get a virus and send it to you. But scan w/ Mcafee. If nothing pops up I wouldnt worry about it.

  14. No Try to uninstall McAfee VirusScan, then download it AVG please go to this website you will get AVG press here http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F...  AVG will solve you probllem thanks.

  15. well it depends on what virus hit your computer .....try to install kasperks antivrus even the trial version will do that job .....

  16. sounds like the msn photo virus (google msnphotovirus download the tool and run it) its harmless as such but once infected it will infect your contacts randomly when you or they go online
