mounted single socket,it trips the fuse on the board.Anyway I then plugged it into another wall socket in the kitchen, and all seems well, though i am aware it must go into a cooker socket, now if i change the face of the OK socket to a proper cooker socket,is this legal as im sure itll be OK.WHAT DO YOU THINK?

  1.     I don' t have enough info, is it an eye level oven or a microwave that plugs into a cook top or free standing range or is it just pluged into the wall. And is the circuit protection a fuse or a breaker that  can be reset.

  2. depends on how many amps your unit draws. To be safe you should have an electrician check out the circuit. No need to burn the house down or cause some other damage.
