Can I take my Q&A and write a book or something out of it? Or will Yahoo claim that it belongs to them?

  1. Unless copyright is transferred, the author of a given question or answer will usually be the copyright owner, assuming the question or answer contains copyrightable aspects (i.e., is an original expression).  Posting questions or answers on Yahoo, in and of itself, does not transfer copyright.

Thus, you likely own the copyright to the portion of the Q&A you wrote.  Likewise, someone else likely owns the copyright to the portion of the Q&A he/she wrote.

Edit:  First, that's not what the Terms of Service says.  Have you even read it yet?  Second, copyright cannot be transferred through a generic Terms of Service.
