contractor in correcting buckled floorr caused hardwood floor to be uneven. would sanding help?

  1. If the floor is uneven enough to cause a problem with installing hardwood flooring, then I would say that sanding is probably not going to be sufficient. I mean, you aren't going to sand away a 1/2" high spot.


  2. the wood could be warped and sanding wouldn't make much difference at all. if its really bad you may have to replace your wooden floor, which isn't a lot of work if done by a good qualified contractor.
