COULD you rugby if u cant run fast and dont havemuch endurance?

  1. ya you can play just get up your fitness and if you have got enough muscle you can play in the tight 5

  3. I wouldn't think it would be in your best interests to undertake a sport without any endurance. You could probably fake it without speed, but you definetely need stamina.

  4. At 15, endurance, speed, fitness, strength and all those things can be improved. Just go get fit and show up to practice.

    and im 5ft7

    i've played rugby for 6 years

    and im 15 now

    when i started i had no endurance or speed... but as i played it more and more, i got fitter and faster, lost fat and put on muscle

    so you can, and if you keep at it, you will get alot better

    so if you do start, keep at it

    if you want to take it seriously

    go running, improve ur fitness, get into the gym, improove ur strength, thats what i did

  6. As the man above said, it is not what you are now, but what you are capable of becoming.

    My reply to your question would be 'are you willing to do what it takes to BECOME a good player'? I coach this great game, and it is NOT what an individual can do, it is what I can help them become that drives me on. I coach mini & Junior rugby players from age 5 through to 16.

    If you want it enough, you can achieve it, but the trick is to measure yourself against YOUSELF, not others. If this week you can do something better than last week, then you are developing, and that is a REALLY good feeling  :-)
