Anyone play this hybrid. If so Im looking to get it in the 18 degree hybrid. How is it on off center hits? and distance wise. Are their better options? I can not test the club so dont tell me to.

  1. I don't own one, but have hit them several times. Everyone says how great they are, and maybe they are, but I didn't think so. Distance was OK, nothing special. Pretty forgiving, but most hybrids are.

I really like the original TaylorMade rescue. Even in a steel shaft it feels really nice and flies as well as any other. I use the Sonartec MD hybrid though. The head size is comparable to the Baffler. I used to use Tour Edge hybrids and I'd still recommend them too, I just prefer the Sonartec.

  2. I have them in 16, 20, 23, 26, & 29 lofts.  I also have a 16 degree Taylormade.  I prefer the Cobras.  Cobra also has a good warranty program.  You won't go wrong with that club.

  3. I've been playing the baffler pro for about 3 months and I love it.  It is by far the best performing hybrid I have ever tried.  It also comes with the speeder shaft stock and looks really nice setting up to the ball.  I have it in the 18 degree/ 2 iron replacement and it is very easy to hit and keep straight.  I have the stock shaft on it in x flex and it is my 245 yard club.  It is very easy to tone down or speed up from there. On the off-center hits it pretty much always stays straight. I think it's the best choice in hybrids.

go try it out, you won't be disappointed
