I got my associates at HCCS and now need to transfer to a university to finish a 4 year. DO you get more financial aid if its a university ? WHat was your financial aid package, did it cover all expenses? I DONT want to take out loans, I see what it does to people so im wondering if there is a way to finish without going into debt. I want to attend University of Houston because its the cheapest I have found. Working isnt really a option I have 3 small kids.

  1. It all depends on income.  Each financial package is different based on the information provided on the FAFSA form.  If you review the form, it will ask for income, assets and how much tuition will cost, among a few other things.   You need to submit the FAFSA form and see what they say.  That is the only way to find out.

  2. yes. enough to pay tuition, maybe enough for all your books too.  FAFSA goes up.
