Question:

CPS question about emotionally/physically abused 16 year old?

My best friend's father, an associate pastor, has been

emotionally/physically abusing her for the majority of her life.

He justifies himself with the bible, of course.

As she's gotten older, it's gotten even worse.

After finding out she made out with someone, he spit in her face.

After discovering that she was confused about her sexuality, he screamed that she was an "abomination", that he hated her,

and that he "has to get the demons out of her."

Along with that he kicked her, and shoved her up against the

wall while shaking her.

His temper has become explosive.

Her older brother, who just recently moved out, has even

admitted it.

He's thrown a suitcase through the wall, knocked the kitchen table over and snapped it in half, shattered a mirror hanging up in the young girls room, and threw a tv across the room.

  1. The CPS will treat this case as child abuse and depending on which state you're in, will dictate the outcome, some states have a monitoring system for first time offenses, in some cases, the child could become emancipated, according to the laws of the states age requirements, conditions etc. Foster care is a possibility, as is adoption, touch and go on that, but good luck, and a prayer goes out to your friend

  2. I know it is terrible but she could plea 'rape' and abuse and hopefully get out of the household.

  3. Next time he becomes abusive or threatens physical harm, call the police, that is domestic violence, even if he is "trying to get rid of the demons." He sounds like a sack of c**p.

  4. Get a case worker for her and get help like from a therapist......tell someone close to you and see if you want to press charges.......hope this helps her

  5. wow.  just be honest in the interview and I seriously doubt she will be going back to that sicko.  what about her mom?  I don't know if your friend will live with you- but quite possible.  they try for a kinship placement first.  poor girl.

  6. Please have her come to your home for a sleep over and then get the authorities involved.  If she has to go to CPPS fort a time before getting to your home at leaset she will be safe.  You are a great friend to help!!! I wish you all the best.  Get her out of the home NOW

  7. cps can do whatever they want. believe me i know. my grandson was placed in foster care over paraphanaila that didnt belong to my daughter not one of their reasons to do that and it probably depends on the bonus case worker will get for a 16 year old just go to fightcps.com theres alot of info there
