CPU overclock question?

I have an intel celeron 1.7ghz and 2gb of ram. In the BIOS I can overclock it to 2.2ghz. Should I overclock it? It is a desktop.

As long as you have decent cooling, then yes but why ? it's a celeron !

you can but do it at your own risk because it can damage your computer and it maybe wont turn back on. I overclcoked mine but i have plenty of cooling.

No reason to, it wont make it any faster

You can... but if you don't give it enough cooling it can very well burn out, then you would have to buy a new one. Overclocking can also cause system unstability
