CRAZY MOCKINGBID!!???? HELP, please?

Question

Theres this mockingbird outside my home with babies but its become VERY aggressive and attacking anyone that comes 20 FT near the tree and its attacked my family, What should i do? i dont want to kill / hurt it but its a living danger

any suggestions????

Stay away from it or just live with it.  Mockingbirds are a protected songbird.  So you have to leave it alone.  In a few weeks the young ones will be flying and the problem will be gone.  It is actually harmless.  Think about it.  What harm can it really do?

The bird really cannot harm you.  You can try carrying an umbrella with you when you go outside and when the bird swoops..open the umbrella, this will scare the bird, and protect your head.  Once the babies leave the nest, the adults will move on with them...just be patient.  Also, you cannot harm, or kill this bird as all wild native birds are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

call animal control they never kill animals so they will tell you what to do!
