CRF150F Starting?

I have a CRF150F, it runs fairly well with the choke halfway on. When I cut the choke off it shuts off. The only it runs with the choke off is when i cut the choke off and give it gas but it DOES NOT IDLE; even revving it while the choke is off makes the bike start to konk out on me. I tried revving it up with the choke on, it doesn't rev smoothly, it gets to a high rev but not to its full potential. I took the carb. out and cleaned it, I'm doing it again to make sure the carb not the problem. I have no clue what this problem is, please help! I also put fresh oil in it and stp fuel injector cleaner, but this was my last resort.

  1. The pilot jet in the carb controls the idle circuit.

It's opening is as small as a pin and is easily clogged with bad gas.

Remove the pilot jet (long and thin) and hold it up to the light.

You should be able to see through it.

    Clean it until you can.

  2. It sounds like your idle jet is plugged, i'd say, if you are getting a hot spark. Make sure there is flow through the idle jet (Blow the passage clear with an air compressor).

  3. Sounds like either a vacuum leak at the intake or a restricted idle circut.
