  1. Coming from a Croatian, definitely visit p**a/Istra. It's where Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia meet. It is the most beautiful part of Croatia, tourist wise. Being from the south, you must visit Dalmacija (the whole souther portion of Croatia). Dubrovnik is the 'hot spot' down south. If you are in Croatia during soccer season, go to Split. The most prestigious Croatian club which has the very first firm (fan club) ever formed in the world. And when you're done with all the partying and what-not and would like to rest for a day or two, I highly recommend going to the "Selo." A "Selo" is the country. The best "Selo's" to visit in Croatia are all in Dalmacija. You will see how beautiful nature is. But a must is to go on an island. A popular one is Hvar. But if you want to see the most beautiful fake beach created by man, go onto the island Brac and visit Bol (name of the beach). There is plenty to do. Please do stop into bakeries and buy their goodies and you have to eat fish in Sibenik/Zadar/Split/Dubrovnik/Istra and you must eat freshly roasted lamb. Also, while driving, if you see any run-down looking restaurants... check them out. Very hospitable and amazing food!! Enjoy Croatia! Take plenty of pictures.

  2. Go to the island of Hvar!!
