Just ask him out, if he says no then he just wasn't the right person, and from my own experience I really really liked a girl and when I asked her out she said no...I was depressed for about 5-6 weeks but in the end you just turn out a little diferent than before you asked the paerson out. Of course you would like to become better friends with this person first before you ask him out. If he says yes then you'll probably be the happiest girl in the world for a while.
